Mechanical/HVAC Project Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 8+ years experience to lead in the design and specification of mechanical building systems for large healthcare, R&D laboratories, industrial or institutional/higher education facilities. You must be current on the “State of the Art” in the HVAC design specialty and have an understanding of applicable design codes, design standards and specification requirements, and ability to interpret them. You must also have the ability to collaborate with, train, mentor, and lead team members. In addition, you must have the ability to anticipate design work, and to delegate and balance work for others. Qualifications include strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-discipline, team environment. You will meet with clients to learn user needs, work together with architects, and develop engineering concepts and recommendations. Experience in design of educational, biotech, pharmaceutical facilities as well as previous project management experience is a plus. Some travel required. BSME and Professional Engineer registration (PE) required. Professional registration in Florida preferred.
