Denver

AEI made a splash in Colorado with the DOE's Energy Systems Integration Facility in Golden (R&D's 2014 Lab of the Year), where researchers are modernizing the national power grid. Today we're supporting the growth of healthcare serving the fast-growing Front Range metropolitan area - as well as AEI's other primary market areas.

One of our newest offices, AEI Denver is a microcosm for the region it serves (the nation's most highly educated metropolitan area, for starters - U.S. Census):

Forward-thinking. At the same time that Denver is known for laid back, progressive ideals, Forbes ranks it as the #1 city in the US for business and careers.

Active. AEI Denver's first office outing was "bagging a fourteener" (53 peaks in Colorado are over 14,000 feet), a suitable activity in one of America's fittest (Shape magazine) cities.

Youthful. Business Insider lists Denver as one of the youngest and fastest growing metro areas in the US. Over half the population moved here from somewhere else.

The great outdoors beckon here, second only to Miami in sunny days (but with three more seasons), with hiking, biking, skiing, and snowboarding topping the list. The Cherry Creek Arts Festival, live music at Red Rocks, an afternoon browsing at The Tattered Cover bookstore, and the annual Great American Beer Festival offer more sedentary options.
