AEI Chicago is a young office with roots going back over twenty years. Overlooking the North Branch of the Chicago River, our fifth floor office is only steps away from the Sears Tower and Union Station in Chicago's downtown business district. 

In this noted city of neighborhoods, Chicago's A/E/C community is clustered in a relatively small area, making for a quick walk or short taxi ride to most of our project partners and a dynamic professional climate in which to work. (We also have a downstate office in Champaign.)
 
As the third largest city in the US, a major global transportation hub, and the financial, commercial, and cultural center of the Midwest, there isn't much about Chicago that isn't known, from the sports to the theater, the hot dogs to the haute cuisine, the nightlife to the museums. That Chicago is one of the Greenest large cities in the world, however, often comes as a surprise. 24 miles of lakefront, 7600 acres of parks, and an innovative design culture of long standing set the pace for such progressive initiatives as fast-track building permits for LEED^® projects.
 
Civic-mindedness is big in this town and in our office. We're active volunteers and involved in the ACE mentorship program.
