Greg Quinn, PE, LEED® AP Named to Consulting-Specifying Engineer Magazine's
40 Under 40 Honor Roll

Madison, WI – Affiliated Engineers, Inc., is pleased to announce that Gregory L. Quinn, PE, LEED® AP, has been named to Consulting-Specifying Engineer's inaugural "40 Under 40" list, honoring building industry engineers under the age of 40 distinguished by academic, professional, personal and community achievement. Quinn is profiled with the other honorees in the current issue of the magazine and on its website,.

“In light of everything he has achieved, there was some assumption within AEI that Greg couldn't possibly be under 40,” said AEI Principal David Odegard, who nominated Quinn for the honor. “It has been a pleasure to witness his growth as a global leader in healthcare engineering and an innovator in advancing the technological bases of engineering practice. He represents a bright future for our firm and for our profession.”

In naming Quinn to the list, Consulting-Specifying Engineer highlights his role on the National Institutes of Health Clinical Research Center, developing a sustainable facility adaptable from standard to higher acuity patients, and from patient care to labs. The magazine further cites Quinn's leadership in developing the curriculum of the University of Wisconsin 's Construction Engineering and Management program's mechanical systems course. Quinn is currently the principal project manager on the 1.1 million square foot Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago .

Greg Quinn is a 1995 graduate of the University of Wisconsin (BS, Mechanical Engineering). He joined AEI in 1996 and is currently the firm's Healthcare Market Group Leader, a principal director of AEI's sustainability practice, and Director of Technology & Innovation. He has been a regular Tradeline speaker and is a repeat guest lecturer to the Harvard Design School , on trends in research and development.
