Mark Lee, PE, LEED^® AP Joins Affiliated Engineers, Inc. - June 18, 2007

Madison, WI – Affiliated Engineers, Inc., is pleased to announce that Mark Lee, PE, LEED® AP, has joined the firm’s Madison, Wisconsin office as our Director of Special Projects. Lee is a former NASA astronaut who made four trips into space and conducted four space walks during his time at the space agency. His most recent position was as a Program Manager with Orbital Technologies Corporation, an aerospace research and product development company.

Lee will be applying his past experiences to further develop AEI's project work and relationships with NASA and related aerospace and industrial organizations. He will also be leading projects for the University of Wisconsin and the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Academy.
