Madison, WI – Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI), is pleased to announce that Michael Broge, PE, LEED® and Kenneth Meschke, PE have been named Principals and joined the ownership of the firm.

Broge joined AEI in 2000 and has over 30 years of engineering and management experience. He leads the firm’s Higher Education practice in the Midwest region. His recent client base includes the University of Wisconsin, the University of Minnesota, the University of Chicago, Northwestern University, Indiana University and Purdue University. Broge has a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural and Building Construction Engineering Technology from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Joining AEI in 1988, Meschke has 20 years of engineering and project management experience primarily focused on research facilities for the federal government, higher education and corporate market sectors. In his current capacity as Project Manager for our Science and Technology practice, he has worked with clients such as the Department of Homeland Security, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Methodist Hospital System, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, the University of Florida and The Scripps Research Institute. Ken holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida.
