Affiliated Engineers Announces New Shareholders - August 20, 2004

Madison, WI – Affiliated Engineers, Inc., is pleased to announce John Duffy, PE and Scott Robinson, PE have joined the ownership of Affiliated Engineers, Inc.

John Duffy joined AEI's Chapel Hill, North Carolina office in 1997. He is currently a Senior Project Manager in charge of the commissioning team in the North Carolina office. Mr. Duffy has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the US Merchant Marine Academy and a master's in business administration from Hofstra University in New York.

Scott Robinson joined AEI's Gainesville, Florida office in 1996. He led the electrical department until 2003 and now serves as the Managing Director of the Gainesville office. He is also market leader for the office's Higher Education practice and performs project management responsibilities for key projects. Mr. Robinson holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Florida.

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. is a national consulting engineering firm specializing in the design of mechanical, electrical, piping, information technology and lighting systems for technically complex facilities.
