AEI Wins Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award - September 22, 2004
Madison, WI – The Illinois Engineering Council (IEC) has awarded Affiliated Engineers an Outstanding Achievement Award for our mechanical, electrical, piping/plumbing and information technology design services for the University of Illinois Siebel Center for Computer Science. The Siebel Center is a 225,000 square foot, cutting-edge facility located on the Urbana-Champaign campus. The new facility includes many state-of-the-art building systems, including keyless entry, proximity sensors, occupancy controls and information panels with LCD touch screens to name few.
The IEC Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award recognizes creativity and vision, aesthetics and environmental considerations, technical leadership, project management, safety and construction innovation in new or renovated building design and construction. IEC is a voluntary, non-profit organization that promotes engineering related activities.
