Madison, WI – Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI), is pleased to announce that Paul Petska and Jim Sokol, PE, have been named Principals and joined the ownership of the firm.

Petska joined AEI in 2002 and has over 25 years engineering and management experience. Petska leads the Healthcare engineering practice in the Midwest region. His recent client base includes Columbia St. Mary’s of Milwaukee, the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center and The University of Chicago Hospitals. Petska has a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Joining AEI in 2001, Sokol has over 25 years of engineering and project management experience. Sokol leads the Healthcare practice for the northwest region out of the Seattle, Washington office and has worked with clients such as the Oregon Health and Science University, Overlake Medical Center and Legacy Hospital. Sokol earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University.

AEI is a national consulting engineering firm specializing in the design of mechanical, electrical, piping and information technology systems for large-scale and technically complex facilities. The firm has offices in California, Florida, Illinois, Metro Washington, DC, North Carolina, Washington and Wisconsin.
