Thom Mullins Joins Affiliated Engineers, Inc.
Seattle, WA– Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) is pleased to announce Thom Mullins, CTS as AV System Design Group Leader.
Thomas Mullins, CTS, has joined Affiliated Engineers as leader of the Audiovisual Design group. Thom has over 30 year of technology design, consulting, and commissioning experience, with recent projects including Microsoft's training and press briefing facilities, speech intelligibility solutions for Boeing's highly reverberant hangar environments, and the innovative digital audio and visual systems and AV signal distribution backbones of the Experience Music Project. A frequent NSCA Expo and InfoComm speaker, Thom writes the monthly Consultant's Connection column for ProAV magazine. He was recently named chairman of InfoComm's Independent Consultants in Audiovisual Technology Council.
Located in AEI's Seattle office, Thom specializes in multimedia and distance learning environments, corporate training and boardroom facilities, audio and video teleconferencing, satellite systems acquisition and distribution, network operations centers, digital signage, exhibit audio and video systems, emergency notification systems, and architectural acoustics, including room shaping and digital modeling of noise isolation criteria.
