Pivotal^®, the lighting group of Affiliated Engineers, understands these needs and is proactive in fulfilling them.

We are passionate about the effects of lighting; both electric and daylighting.  We strive to develop designs that showcase architecture, at the same time as promoting visual acuity, comfort, and way finding, while developing innovative, energy effective results.  Pivotal is proud to be known for actively pursuing solutions that recognize daylighting as the first strategy for architectural lighting and augmenting the daylighting solution with strategically selected and located energy efficient luminaires.  We have been successful with this strategy as proven in two of the projects in our portfolio that are slated to be zero net energy buildings.  Bringing lighting design to its fullest potential has included integration of our lighting design solutions into building control systems.
