Senior Lighting Designer


Shaun Darragh has served as a lead architectural lighting designer, daylighting and sustainability specialist, and lighting control system consultant. His professional achievements are informed by a curiosity and commitment to the capacities of light, dating from his study of theatrical design at the University of Massachusetts. He has been a lighting design instructor for the University of Washington Architecture Department and Seattle’s Lighting Design Lab, and has spoken widely on topics relating to sustainability and human perception, most recently to BuildBoston, Labs21, and the Pacific Northwest Regional AIA Conference. Shaun is technical leader for our Seattle studio.


Mr. Darragh’s projects have received recognition for exceptional design, including: IIDA Awards of Merit, for the Amgen Helix project, Reebok World Headquarters, Reno Sparks Convention Center, and Pacific Place Retail Center; IIDA Energy Awards of Merit, for the Amgen Helix Project, and Lighting Design Lab Renovation; and, an International IIDA Award of Excellence for the design of the Pedestrian Bridge at the Amgen Helix Project.
