Recognizing that the success or failure of a project rests on the overall satisfaction of multiple users, AEI's Instrumentation and Controls team equips our clients to meet the needs of management, purchasing, engineering, quality control, and operations/maintenance, and to do so in a cost-effective manner.  Our I&C engineers and designers can lead and perform a controls-focused project or can function as a component of an in-house or external engineering team.
 
Accomplished in a variety of markets, including industrial, process, and commercial buildings, the I&C team brings our clients significant hands-on controls expertise through extensive field experience.  Specialized areas of experience include:  cGMP (current good manufacturing practice) standards and validation requirements for automated controls systems; Intrinsically Safe instrumentation specification and design, including Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS); and, "Legacy Control System" evaluation and migration strategy planning for phased implementation.
